"Case #408: Unsolved"
I've always been fascinated by Cryptozoology, the study of unknown creatures, and this interest inspired the scene in "Case #408: Unsolved". The eerie glow of the murky water and moodiness of the shore lends an air of uneasiness as we wonder what it is exactly these two boys have found. I took it to an extreme degree here of course since the featured creature is almost a cartoon beast that has somehow found it's way, perhaps only in death, into our realm of existence.

If you view the original painting from a distance it appears polished, shiny and gleaming, just like the propaganda posters of the Third Reich. Only upon closer inspection do you begin to notice the purposefully added finish that exhibits the degradation, cloudiness, and wear that comes with trying to rule using tactics of tyranny and deceit. The Republican war machine is rusty, creaking and creeping to a halt. There has never been a better time to strike. Sadly this is all real life, not a movie, but thankfully it's not too late to change the future. This is your chance to be part of history... to be an American Hero. "Hollyween"
My Lindsay Lohan piece that started everything. First censored by the gallery but later put back on display. It turned out to be a great show and my first serious exposure to the masses via Entertainment Tonight, The Insider, Perez Hilton, Defamer and LA Weekly. This piece was sold in mid-2008.

Pictured below is the famous "For the Love of God" platinum and diamond skull as perpetrated by Damien Hirst (or several dozen people acting in his name). I actually think it's a wonderfully beautiful thing and wanted to honor his work in a take-off of his name and thus created "Damien Hearse" which found it's way into a private collection shortly after the show.
First, the inspiration...
...and my tribute, "Damien Hearse", which took many weeks and 3,200 rhinestones and about $600-700 in materials alone to complete.
